Lefty Crumpet is a Minnesota-based, ethnically-ambiguous, joke-slinging, musical funnyman with social anxiety from Riverside, California. This rising star was a finalist in the “Funniest Person With a Day Job” contest at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy in the Mall of America.
Lefty’s journey in comedy began when his friends encouraged him to try an open mic in college. The lure of the stage was too strong to resist. He then joined the University of Minnesota’s student club for comedians. Armed with sharp wit and a guitar, he quickly incorporated music into his performances. This led to an invitation to appear on Mytalk Radio’s Brittany and Kendall show. Due to the popularity of his “Hallelujah” parody, “Minnesota”, he became a recurring guest.
In addition to his solo act, Lefty presents his signature blend of joy and absurdity through Freshly Squeezed Comedy, a group he co-founded that produces comedy shows in breweries and bars all over Minnesota.

What's with the name Lefty Crumpet?
If the name Lefty Crumpet sounds like it was written by a 13-year-old, that’s because it was. The name originated as a children's book character that he created in seventh grade for a middle school storytelling competition, which he won. Having emerged triumphant, fueled by the tears of his twelve-year-old competitors, this champion proceeded to make it his whole thing. This grown man with a Roth IRA now goes by the name Lefty Crumpet, indulging in the nonsense and buffoonery of youth.
